How can I help?

Are you starting to wonder whether your health, energy or habits need more of your attention?

At Dartmouth Nutrition Studio, I help you understand the connection between food, lifestyle and health conditions, then turn that understanding into personalised, practical and sustainable changes that fit your life and your goals.

Perhaps you've noticed that…

  • You don't have the energy you used to, and you're not sure why
  • Your cholesterol, blood pressure or blood sugar levels are starting to concern you
  • You want to feel strong, active and independent for the years ahead
  • Your body feels different — perhaps during midlife, menopause or after a major life change — and you want to understand what it needs now
  • Your digestion is affecting how you feel day to day
  • Since starting weight loss medication, you're not sure how to build an eating pattern that supports your health and helps you stay strong

Or maybe this sounds like you …

"I really want to make changes, but I get so overwhelmed by conflicting advice about what to eat, what not to eat, how to move, what managing stress really looks like - and I just don't know where to start …"

About Sue

BANT Registered Nutritionist®

BSc (Hons) Nutritional Therapy

FCA | 30+ years senior professional experience

After more than 30 years in a demanding professional career, including senior roles within a global Big Four organisation, I became increasingly interested in the factors that influence how people feel, perform and thrive over the long term.

I saw first-hand how the pressures of everyday life can affect health, energy and wellbeing — and how often the foundations of good health are overlooked until a health crisis forces us to pay attention.

This ultimately led me to study for a degree in nutritional therapy, where I uncovered the powerful connection between what we eat, how we feel, and our long-term health.

My interest is also personal. As someone navigating midlife and my own health goals — including supporting heart health, improving cholesterol and building strength for the future — I have experienced how meaningful changes to food, movement and daily habits can influence how we feel and function.

I founded Dartmouth Nutrition Studio to combine scientific understanding with a practical, realistic approach - helping people make changes that support better health, energy and quality of life.

One-to-one Nutritional Therapy

Personalised support to help you understand what your body needs — and make changes that actually last. I’ll provide the expert guidance, encouragement and support you need to make meaningful changes that feel realistic and sustainable.

Nutrition & Health MOT

90 minutes | £145

A broad, proactive review of your nutrition, lifestyle and key health markers - helping you take stock of where you are now and identify the areas most worth focusing on.

  • Review of your current eating patterns, lifestyle and health goals
  • Discussion of your general health priorities and any areas of concern
  • Review of existing information such as cholesterol, blood sugar or blood pressure results
  • Identification of key nutrition and lifestyle priorities
  • A concise summary of practical next steps

Personalised Nutrition Programme

8 weeks | £395

For when you know you want to make changes, but you're not sure where to start, what will make the biggest difference, or how to turn good intentions into lasting habits.

  • 90-minute initial consultation
  • Three 45-minute follow-up sessions (every other week)
  • A personalised nutrition and lifestyle plan
  • Practical guidance on food choices, meal ideas and habits
  • Resources and suggestions to help you put changes into practice
  • Ongoing support and encouragement as you build confidence

The Health MOT provides a high-level overview rather than an in-depth assessment of a specific health condition. For more detailed support with particular symptoms or health concerns, the Personalised Nutrition Programme may be more suitable.

The Personalised Nutrition Programme may be for you if you are looking to improve your energy, support heart health or cholesterol, manage digestive concerns, feel stronger and more active, build a healthier eating pattern alongside weight loss medication, or simply feel more confident about what to eat every day.

How one-to-one support works

A simple, structured process — designed around you.

1. Understanding where you are now

Before we meet, you'll complete a questionnaire so I can understand your health history, current eating patterns, lifestyle, health concerns, challenges and goals. This makes our time together focused and meaningful.

2. Exploring what matters most

During your consultation, we'll explore your goals, what's been getting in the way, and what you'd most like to change. This shapes everything that follows, making plans and changes personalised to you and your life.

3. Creating your personalised plan

Together we'll shape the changes most likely to support your goals. You'll receive practical recommendations tailored to your life — including realistic approaches to food, meals and habits, and clear next steps that you can actually put into practice.

4. Making changes that last

Follow-up sessions give us the opportunity to review progress, adapt your approach and build confidence as you put changes into practice. This is where good intentions become lasting habits.

My approach is evidence-informed and personalised. I work alongside your existing healthcare team where appropriate, helping you make nutrition and lifestyle changes that complement your medical care and support your health goals.

Workshops & Events

Practical nutrition for better health

Good health is not built on one perfect meal or a rigid set of rules. It comes from understanding how the choices we make every day influence the way we feel, function and age.

My workshops explore individual health topics in depth, giving you the time and space to understand how nutrition and lifestyle influence different areas of health — and identify the changes that could make the biggest difference for you personally.

Rather than simply sharing information, these sessions are designed to help you turn knowledge into action. Most workshops are delivered as a short series, allowing time to:

Understand

Explore the science behind the topic and why nutrition and lifestyle can influence your health.

Apply

Identify practical changes that fit your life, experiment with new approaches and build your own personalised plan.

Reflect

Share experiences, learn from others and refine your approach based on what works for you.

Upcoming topics will include:

  • Heart health and cholesterol
  • Blood sugar balance and energy
  • Nutrition for healthy ageing and strength
